Description

The laboratory for neural coding at Ben Gurion University is looking for an excellent PhD student to take part in a study which involves information processing in the brain at the network and single cell levels.

The candidate should have a strong interest in information processing in the visual system and navigation system. The project will involve electrophysiology in behaving animals and is aimed at understanding the how animals navigate and visually process their environment.

The successful candidate should have a background either in neuroscience, computational neuroscience, biomedical engineering, physics, computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics or any other related discipline.

The lab team is strongly multidisciplinary and has a strong background in electrophysiology, computational modeling and behavioral experiments.
