Description

Various exciting projects are available to focus on the cellular and circuit mechanisms of learning and memory in mouse cerebral cortex and hippocampus. A broad spectrum of methods will be involved including two-photon Ca2+ imaging, whole-cell patch clamp electrophysiology, optogenetics, neuroanatomy, pharmacogenetics and behaviour testing.

Applicants should have an undergraduate degree in neurobiology, physiology or biochemistry with excellent to outstanding academic achievements. Excellent communication skills in English or French are required. Prior experience with patch clamp electrophysiology or stereotaxic surgery will be an asset.
