Connecting European Neuroscience

5-6 July 2018, Berlin, Germany

The 21st century has been invoked as the “Century of the Mind”. With two feet in the new millennium, the next generation of neuroscientists experience exciting times.

ENCODS 2018 is a pioneer conference, which creates a space for young doctoral researchers to engage with the use of technologies in neuroscience.

Novel experimental techniques, growing computational power and incorporation of complex mathematical modelling enrich the toolbox of today’s neuroscientists. From CRISPR and optogenetics to big data analysis in neuroscience, we are inviting leading experts to shine light on the possibilities which novel methods open for neuroscience.

With the turn of the century, the internet has led to innovations in all fields of society. Neuroscience is one of the youngest and most diverse communities in science; the ideal candidate to fully embrace the digital world. Via workshops and participant-driven events, our conference promotes innovative tools to facilitate everyday work and collaborations. Further, we would like to encourage participants to envision novel ways of sharing scientific insight.

ENCODS 2018:

- provides an intimate environment where young researchers can interact with both renowned scientists and fellow researchers.

- features novel interactive talk formats to foster links among students of different fields of neuroscience.

- has a digital open space to be organised and filled by the participants.

Further information will be available soon.
