Following the recent animal extremist activities at the University of Milano, the Basel Declaration Society has been calling for solidarity and is announcing a rally organised by Pro test Italy On June 1st in Milano.

Dear all who signed the "Call for Solidarity" of the Basel Declaration Society
We would like to announce that Pro Test, Italy is organizing a rally concerning the recent animal extremist activities at the University of Milano.
The event will take place in Milano, Via Mercanti, on June 1st, starting at 3PM and ending at 7 PM.
Dr. Giuliano Grignaschi, ambassador of the Basel Declaration Society, will have a speech among others and handover the signatures of our "Call for Solidarity" as a petition (more than 5500 people from about 70 countries have signed it -more than 1500 from Italy!!).
We hope, that a lot of you will participate. We think it should be made very clear that albeit this happened in Italy, researchers and people in favor of biomedical research from all over the world have signed this call to demonstrate that they no longer tolerate suche extremist acts against scientists and their research animals!
