Research interests

Chronobiology:
Melatonin in the vertebrate pineal gland and retina. Dopamine-melatonin interplay in the retina. Dysfunction of retinal dopaminergic system - an impact on circadian rhythmicity.
Neuropharmacology, biochemical pharmacology:
Receptors (for histamine, noradrenaline, dopamine, melatonin, PACAP/VIP, glutamate) and their signal transduction pathways.
