By submitting an abstract:
- your application will be considered for a FENS, IBRO-PERC and The Brain Prize stipend (if "Yes" was selected in the "Stipend requested" field)
- you might be asked to present your abstract in the format of a short talk
- you agree to present a poster during the conference
- you are prioritized during the selection process.
Registration fee includes:
- registration, programme book with abstracts and meeting costs
- lunches, dinners and coffee breaks
- conference Gala Dinner (8 May 2019)
Available Stipends
The Brain Prize, IBRO-PERC and FENS offer 15 stipends of 1,000 EUR for international students or early career scientists who attend the conference. Part of the grant will be used to cover the registration fee for the awardee.
To be considered for a stipend, you have to submit an abstract during the online registration and mark the available field "Yes, I want to be considered for a stipend". The grant awardees will be selected following the application deadline (27 February 2019).
The number of participants to this conference is in the range of 150 participants. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract, although this is not a mandatory requirement for being accepted as participant.

Following the end of regular registration on 27 February 2019, accepted applicants will receive an email containing detailed information on how to proceed with the payment of registration. Please note that attendance is not guaranteed until the full payment of the registration fee has been confirmed.

The conference starts early-afternoon on Sunday, 5 May and ends late evening with the Gala Dinner on Wednesday, 8 May 2019.

Please note that the accommodation (i.e.: hotel room and breakfast) is not included in the conference registration fee.
A limited number of single and shared rooms have been preliminary booked by the organisers at Rungstedgaard (the venue where the Brain Conference takes place).
Accepted participants will be provided with a link where they can proceed with the booking and payment of the chosen accommodation at Rungstedgaard.

Standard room, single occupancy:                                910 DKK (approx. 122 EUR)
Standard room, double occupancy (double bed):          540 DKK (approx. 73 EUR/person)
Shared room, double occupancy/Park (twin beds):       695 DKK (approx. 94 EUR/person)
