EJN Best Publication Award 2019

In collaboration with FENS and Wiley, EJN is awarding to the “Best Publication Award” in the odd years, recognising the best research article published in EJN over the preceding two‐year period. This biennial award will be bestowed upon the first author(s) of the selected article (a personal award of £ 3,000).

Nominations are now open

In collaboration with FENS and Wiley, EJN is calling for applications for the “Best Publication Award 2019”.

This biennial award recognises the best original research article published in EJN over the preceding two‐year period (published or accepted in years 2017 and 2018).

Nominations are accepted from the readership of EJN. The first author(s) of an article may also be nominated by the paper’s co-authors.

The award will be presented at the FENS Regional Meeting in Belgrade, Serbia (10 - 13 July 2019). The award winner will be required to give a lecture at this meeting.

The application should include the following documents, bundled together into a single PDF file:

  • A short statement addressing the significance of the work.
  • PDF of the article.
  • Short biosketch (max. 2 pages) of the first author (or first authors in case of equal first co‐authorship).
  • A signed statement by all authors of the article confirming their support for the nomination and, in case of multiple first authors, the selection of the speaker for the Belgrade meeting.

Submission deadline: 31 March 2019

All applicants will be notified of the results by the end of April 2019.
