Munich, Germany

Brain Stimulation, Neuromodulation, Neuroimaging

About the Event

This workshop is intended for researchers, academics and clinicians who are interested in learning up-to-date basics of non-invasive brain stimulation as a tool to study brain function and to influence human behavior. It familiarises participants also with the fundamentals of theoretical and practical aspects of non-invasive brain stimulation including issues related to ethics, safety and current clinical outcome. Non-invasive brain stimulation is known to modulate brain activity in both healthy subjects and patients with neurological or psychiatric diseases. Physiological and functional effects can be demonstrated by using brain stimulation techniques under certain tasks or in combination with neuroimaging methods. The field of non-invasive brain stimulation has influence on our understanding of the brain. The workshop will provide a deeper insight on our available solutions. Supervised by our specialists this workshop offers hands on training on Multi-Channel tES, TMS-navigation and the combination of non-invasive brain stimulation techniques with EEG technology.
