Transcriptional and Epigenetic Mechanisms of Neuronal Plasticity ---------------
A Ph.D. student position is available in our research team at the Institute of Neurosciences (San Juan de Alicante, Spain).
Our research focuses on the role of transcriptional and epigenetic regulation in neuronal plasticity, cognition and intellectual disability. Our laboratory applies a multidisciplinary approach that combines molecular biology, mouse genetics, genomics and behavior.
Specifically, we are looking for an outstanding student with a degree in Biology, Biomedicine, Biotechnology (or equivalent) and a Master in Neurosciences or Bioinformatics. Applicants must have an excellent academic record and previous experience in molecular and cellular neurosciences or genome biology.
Funding is available for an initial period of 12 months with the plan of extending it by conducting a PhD thesis. Application, including description of research accomplishments and technical expertise, CV, and academic qualifications should be sent to:
