The University of Virginia, Department of Pharmacology is seeking applications for Research Associates to investigate neural plasticity and circuits with approaches combining rapid gene expression and replacement, multiple patch-clamp recordings, optogenetics and genetically-encoded sensors. Two positions are available as two of the postdoc fellows in the lab moving to tenure-track professor positions in other institutes. Prior training in molecular biology, electrophysiology and/or optic physics is desired. Applicants with recent MD and/or PhD and publications in peer-reviewed journals will be considered; salary will depend on qualifications.
