UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology
Dementia Research Institute (DRI) at UCL
Research Fellow

The Single Cell Genomics laboratory at the UK DRI will investigate the molecular and cellular basis of fundamental brain functions that are affected in dementing illnesses (e.g. the formation, encoding and recall of memory), charting the as yet uncharacterised cellular changes that support healthy ageing and those which lead to pathology.

We are now looking for a Research Fellow who will be responsible for the design and analysis of single cell sequencing experiments, for the development and application of analytical methods and data visualisation methods, and for establishing and maintaining computational pipelines. The post holder will work both on high throughput sequencing data and on imaging data. The work will be at the interface of neuroscience and data science.
