Description: This PhD research project will tackle the top-down modulation of motor performance through placebo and nocebo procedures. In addition to behavioral and cognitive approaches, we will apply neurophysiological techniques like transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) to investigate the neural correlates.

Location: The research project will be conducted at the Action-Perception Laboratory, Department of Neurosciences, Biomedicine and Movement Sciences, University of Verona, Italy.

Requirements: Please note that the candidate for this project should have a background in cognitive psychology, cognitive neuroscience or movement sciences. Expertise with computer programming is highly desirable.
