Description

The laboratory of Dr. Yun Ding in the Biology Department at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to study the neural diversity in Drosophila species. Our lab works on the exciting new frontier at the intersection of neurobiology, genetic, and animal behavioral evolution, to understand how genetic and neural changes  encode behavioral novelties during evolution.

We are specifically looking for a candidate with insect (preferably Drosophila) neurobiology background. Qualified candidates should hold a Ph.D. in related field, and have peer-reviewed publication(s) or preprint(s) related to their Ph.D. work. Strong communication skills including scientific reading and writing in English is necessary. Position is available now and the start date can be flexible.
