Description

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Scientist position at MRC, Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) with a salary range of £31,602 - £34,443, in the group of Dr Ingo Greger to undertake research investigating signalling properties and nano-organisation of synaptic AMPA glutamate receptors using a combination of imaging and electrophysiology.

This project builds on our recent work on AMPA-type glutamate receptors (Watson J. et al., Elife 2017; Watson J. et al., bioRxiv 2020; Herguedas B. et al., Science 2019; reviewed in Buonarati O. et al., Sci Signal 2019). Candidates should have a PhD and experience with brain slice electrophysiology. Experience with super-resolution light microscopy and or 2-photon microscopy techniques would be greatly advantageous.

The successful applicant will be awarded a three year Career Development Fellowship / Postdoctoral training Scheme position.
