A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Jun Nishiyama at Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore. We study molecular mechanisms underlying synaptic function and dysfunction in psychiatric disorders using a variety of cutting-edge technologies (Neuron, 2017; Cell, 2016; Neuron, 2015;

The successful candidate will lead a funded project using advanced imaging technologies in combination with molecular tools, including CRISPR/Cas9-mediated in vivo genome editing, to investigate synaptic structure, plasticity, and diseases. We are looking for a highly motivated and qualified individuals with a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree in neuroscience, cell biology, biochemistry or related fields. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds who have a desire to learn and develop new technologies.
