The project is to be developed in the lab of Pierre Paoletti at the Institut de Biologie de l’Ecole Normale Supérieure (IBENS) in Paris. The Paoletti lab has worldwide recognition for its work on the structure and function of glutamate receptors, and the regulation of excitatory synapses (Nature 2009, Nat Neuro 2011, EMBOJ 2011 & 2019, Nat Struc & Mol Biol 2013, Nat Rev Neurosci 2013 & 2019, J Neurosci 2014, PNAS 2014, Neuron 2014, Curr Op Pharmacol 2015, Neuron 2016, eLife 2017, Curr Op Physiol 2018, Nat Comm 2018). The position has 2 years of initial funding, with the possibility for extension.
