Description

We are looking for a post-doctoral research to strengthen our team in behavioural neuroscience. We are currently interested in interrogating neural circuit function with the use of transgenic animal lines, viral vector based transgene expression and methods to perturbate cell activity, such as optogenetics and chemogenetics. We are interested in capturing neuronal cell populations in the midbrain that are involved in specific behavioural states. In the project we use a wide array of technologies, some of which the candidate should have mastered during the doctoral training and there should be a willingness to learn additional techniques. The applicant will work with research animals and should be comfortable to do so.

Qualifications:
Animal handling (surgeries, behavior, perfusion)
Molecular biology (basic cloning)
AAV vector production
Immunohistochemistry
Electrochemistry
Opto/chemogenetics
