Postdoc announcements

Our Unit of Integrative Neurobiology of Cholinergic Systems has several openings for Postdoctoral fellows. We are looking for motivated candidates who do have experience with one or several of the required techniques. The contract duration is between one and three years. For further information, see our website:

1.
Two-photon imaging of SARS-CoV-2 infected mice
Making use of the world-class infrastructures of the Institut Pasteur when it comes to infectious disease, we will mount a two-photon microscope in a BSL-3 biosafety animal facility. This will allow us to monitor changes in the brains of infected rodents, over time.

2.
Three-photon imaging of transgenic rats
We are setting up a three-photon instrument for deep brain imaging in transgenic rats. We are looking for candidates with experience both in behavioural studies, and advanced imaging or electrophysiology

3.
Slice electrophysiology of transplanted human iPSC-derived neurons
Following up on our recent publications on transplants of human iPSC-derived neurons we will now start a programme on the electrophysiological characterisation in slices, and in vivo. Strong experience with electrophysiology is required.
