The Brain Prize is a newly installed personal prize of 1 mio. Euros to be awarded by a private Danish foundation, the Grete Lundbeck European Brain Research Foundation.
The Brain Prize will recognize a highly original and influential advance in brain research. Nominees can be of any nationality but the research for which
they are nominated must have been conducted in Europe or in collaboration with researchers in Europe. Nominees shall be active researchers who are likely
to be active for ten more years. The closing date for nominating candidates is
September 15, 2010.
The Brain Prize will be awarded for the first time on May 2, 2011 in Copenhagen (Denmark).
