FENS provides travel grants to help young investigators, PhD or MS students to attend SONA conference 2017 (11-14 June) in Entebbe, Uganda

The support is intended to support young investigators (MSc to Postdoc level) to attend SONA conference 2017 in Entebbe, Uganda.

These grants - of up to € 1.200 each - are intended to cover the SONA 2017 registration fee and the associated travel expenses. The candidates should reside in a European country and be members of a FENS society. The successful candidates should be presenting a poster or talk.

The organising committee will notify successful candidates (only) and publish the list of the travel grant awardees on the SONA website by mid-May.

Candidates should not be the recipients of other grants related to the SONA 2017. Applicants attending SONA 2017 only if awarded with a travel grant can register after the announcement of the travel grant awardees, and pay the early-bird registration fee.
