Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Scientist in the group of Dr Ingo Greger to undertake research into the organisation of synaptic AMPA glutamate receptor complexes, using biochemical and cell biological approaches.
This project builds on our recent structural and functional work (Watson et al., Elife 2017; Herguedas et al., Science 2019; Watson et al., Nature Comms., 2021; Zhang et al., Nature 2021), and aims to characterise AMPA receptor trafficking by synaptic proteins. Candidates should have a PhD, and experience with protein biochemistry and cell biology.
