The Debanne group (UNIS, Marseille, France) is hiring a doctoral position for 3 years, starting on October 1^st 2023. We are looking for a highly motivated student with some experience in electrophysiology or time-lapse imaging. Skills in confocal/2P microscopy and in programming would be welcome. The project is focused on synchrony-dependent presynaptic facilitation (Zbili et al., Science Advances 2020).

The successful applicant will have access to resources of the Debanne group and will benefit from our expertise in cellular plasticity and electrophysiology in vitro. The Debanne group is at the Ion channel and Synaptic Neurobiology Unit (UNIS, Head: D Debanne; https://unis-neuro.com/) that is under the authority of the French Medical Research council (INSERM) and Aix-Marseille University.
