We are looking for a highly motivated a creative postdoctoral researcher to lead a project on Alzheimer’s disease (AD) resilience and sleep. The selected candidate will join the Functional Epi-Genomics group at the Instituto de Neurociencias (IN) of Alicante (Spain) and work in close collaboration with other groups as part of an international action funded by the Pasqual Maragall Foundation.

Research project

The project aims to characterize and causally determine the molecular underpinnings of sleep-modulation of AD resilience using a combination of mouse models and human samples, with state-of-the-art electrophysiology and behavioral techniques, and single-cell epi-genetic profiling and editing tools.
