Description:

We use a multidisciplinary approach including molecular, genetic and optical techniques to explore neural circuits underlying social behavior in mice (Sci Adv 7:eabg4074; Nat Commun 9:400; PNAS 114:10779-10784; Nat Neurosci 14:704-710; Cell 123:683-695). The group is part of the new Center for Molecular Signaling (http://www.pzms.uni-saarland.de) providing state-of-the-art facilities. Experience in molecular biology and genetics would be appreciated, but is not mandatory.
