Postdoctoral Fellow – Ageing and schizophrenia brain system
Position: Post-doctoral Position
Deadline: 30 September 2022
Contract Length: 1-3 years
Institution: Nanyang Technological University
Department: Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine
We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow who is interested in investigating the anomalies of the brain system in the mouse models of ageing and schizophrenia. Our lab studies the microcircuits and the brain-wide networks that underlie executive functions including working memory, impulse control, and behavioral flexibility, and how they are disrupted with ageing and psychiatric disorders like schizophrenia. The successful candidate will work on the project using calcium imaging, optogenetics, and electrophysiology in behaving mice.
Please send a CV and contact information of 1-2 references to the Principal Investigator Tsukasa Kamigaki: firstname.lastname@example.org
– PhD in neuroscience or a related field.
– Preference will be given to those who have experience in in-vivo neural activity measurements.
