Description:
An NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available immediately for a highly motivated individual to participate in Alzheimer’s disease research. The successful candidate will investigate cellular and molecular mechanisms of AD risk factors and AD-associated microglial and neuronal abnormalities using transgenic and knock-out mouse models, rodent primary cultures, and human iPSC-derived neurons and glia.
Ambitious scientists who join our team will avail themselves of the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and train with experienced molecular, cellular, and translational neuroscientists investigating various aspects of nervous system function and dysfunction.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or MD., Ph.D. in a related field, and a strong background in synaptic physiology or advanced microscopy applications.
