The Debanne group (UNIS, Marseille, France) is hiring a post-doc position for 2 years, starting on October 1^st 2023. We are looking for a highly motivated post-doc with solid experience in patch-clamp recording and in live imaging. Advanced skills in 2P microscopy, paired-recordings from monosynaptically connected neurons and in programming would be welcome. The project is focused on synchrony-dependent presynaptic facilitation (Zbili et al., Science Advances 2020).

The successful applicant will have access to resources of the Debanne group and will benefit from our expertise in cellular plasticity and electrophysiology in vitro. The Debanne group is at the Ion channel and Synaptic Neurobiology Unit (UNIS, Head: D Debanne; https://unis-neuro.com/) that is under the authority of the French Medical Research council (INSERM) and Aix-Marseille University.
