Description:
Candidates who have previous experience with murine models and primary neuronal cultures are encouraged to apply. It is expected that the candidate should have a PhD in Neuroscience or a related discipline (Biochemistry/Cell Biology/Genetics).
The position is up to 16 months and is supported by Euregio IPN170 “The molecular biology of Neurocovid”.

The incumbent will perform the following tasks:
• mice colony management
• neuronal primary cultures
• Perform molecular and cellular biology assays (qPCR, Western blot,
immunofuorescence) and fluorescent and confocal microscopy
• Data evaluation and interpretation
Requirements:
• Doctoral degree (PhD) in biology or related disciplines
• Excellent laboratory skills in cell and molecular biology
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Excellent team working skills
• Flexibility and willingness to learn and develop
• Previous exposure to electrophysiology is an asset, albeit not necessary
• Availability to start by 2024
