Description:
The Laboratory for Neuro-and Psychophysiology investigates the brain in human and nonhuman primates with a combination of electrophysiology, functional imaging and causal perturbation methods, both at the level of basic research and in translational research.
The postdoctoral researcher will be involved in a multidisciplinary project on intracortical brain-machine interfaces in nonhuman primates, in collaboration with clinicians and engineers. A second aspect of the position involves providing assistance in gene therapy experiments in nonhuman primates.
Profile
PhD in systems neurosciences
extensive experience with nonhuman primate electrophysiology (preferably multielectrode recordings)
excellent publication track record
capable of working in a team
solid knowledge of Matlab and/or Python
