Postdoc for work on human iPS cells and differentiation into neural lineages

Position: Post-doctoral Position

Deadline: 1 April 2025

Employment Start Date: 15 April 2025

Contract Length: 3 years

City: Paris

Country: France

Institution: Institut Pasteur

Department: Neuroscience

Description:

We are looking for a Postdoctoral fellow to take part in our human iPSC projects. These are described on our website

Integrative Neurobiology of Cholinergic Systems

We are looking for a candidate with extensive skills in the culture, differentiation and analysis of iPSC cultures, for different neural lineages, and microglia. Further, we are transplanting pre-differentiated iPSC into immunodeficient animals, and experience with surgical techniques would be a bonus, but is not strictly required.

The ideal candidate will have carried out his PhD using human iPSC extensively, especially the differentiation into neurons and microglia. The appointment is for three years.

Application Procedure: To apply, please submit the following: An updated CV, a brief description of your scientific accomplishments and research interests. At this stage, reference letters are welcome but not mandatory. Candidates who pass the initial selection will be required to provide reference letters. Please send your application materials to umaskos@pasteur.fr
