THE ROLE

You will be working in a multi-disciplinary group, where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to support IIT research activity.

The Brain development and Disease Lab manages the study of the molecular/cellular underpinning of neurodevelopmental disorders to find new potential therapeutic approaches and is coordinated by Dr Laura Cancedda. This project has been funded to research on the long-lasting negative sequelae of stress exposure during life.

Within the team, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Molecular/cellular biology (required).
  • Behavioral neuroscience (required).

 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • A PhD or a master’s in life/natural sciences, medicine, pharmacy, bioengineering or a similar discipline
  • Documented experience in neurobiology
  • Good knowledge of the English language
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong focus on stakeholder needs and expectations

  • Ability to work in a challenging and international environment
  • Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment
  • Possess analytical reasoning skills and a growth mindset
