We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Ph.D. student to join our laboratory for a funded research project focused on uncovering the molecular and cellular mechanisms that underlie memory formation.

The project will utilize advanced molecular biology tools to manipulate protein function in defined neuronal populations. These targeted manipulations will be combined with imaging approaches—including in vivo calcium imaging in behaving animals and high-resolution imaging to explore neuronal morphology—as well as large-scale molecular analyses. Together, these approaches will be used to investigate how specific molecular events drive the cellular processes involved in learning and memory formation.
