THE ROLE

You will be working in a multi-disciplinary group, where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to support IIT research activity.

 

The Brain development and Disease Lab manages the study of the mechanisms underpinning of neurodevelopmental disorders to find new potential therapeutic approaches and is coordinated by Dr Laura Cancedda. 

This project has been funded to research on the long-lasting negative sequelae of stress exposure during life.

 

Within the team, your main responsibilities will be any of the following:

 

  • Computational Neuroscience.
  • Behavioral experiments.

 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • A master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, bioengineering or a similar discipline
  • Documented experience in data science
  • Good knowledge of the English language
  • Familiarity with the coding
  • Autonomy in performing the main responsibilities

 

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

  • Ability to work in a challenging and international environment
  • Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment
  • Possess analytical reasoning skills and a growth mindset
