Organoids (primary 3D epithelial culture) can be derived from many mouse and human tissues. This novel culture system has enabled us to explore gene functions in many diverse types of primary cells. In this webinar, the murine intestinal organoid will be introduced as a novel model system. Several genetic manipulation tools for organoids will then be discussed with examples, including retroviral transgenesis, BAC-transgenesis, and CRISPR/Cas gene editing.This webinar will review: (1)intestinal 3D organoid culture system& (2) genetic manipulation tools for organoids.
