The Plymouth Electrophysiology Workshop has taken place annually at the Marine Biological Association since 1984 to teach electrophysiological and optical indicator methods in cell biology and neuroscience. This year a virtual workshop will comprise lectures and demonstrations normally part of the hands-on workshop. The course will run from 1-17 September 2021. There is no fee but registration is essential. The workshop will use zoom and google classrooms. Students will have 2-3 lectures each afternoon and preparative reading material for the morning. Interaction with instructors and lecturers will be facilitated by the ‘classrooms’ format. Application details and program at http://plymouthworkshop.org.
