KITP QBio Summer Course: Neurophysics of Sensory Navigation

We are now accepting applications for our 2018 QBio summer course, Neurophysics of Sensory Navigation, which will run from July 30 – August 24. The course will equip students with the conceptual and technical frameworks that physics and quantitative biology offer to study the integrated function of neural circuits.

Each morning, participants will attend lectures by leaders in the field. They will spend afternoons in the lab working side-by-side with instructors on small-group research projects. Instructors and lecturers will also lead intensive tutorials in the cutting-edge lab, modeling, and analysis techniques used in the research projects.

This course is for postdocs and graduate students with physical, mathematical, and life science backgrounds. We are especially eager to provide this opportunity to members of groups underrepresented in the sciences.
