The Freiburg Brain Imaging (FBI) unit, in cooperation with the Department of Neurology and the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, is organizing a 5-day Interdisciplinary Late-Summer School on Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation (NIBS), which will be held on October 12-16, 2016 in Freiburg, Germany. The event is sponsored by the Volkswagen Foundation.
The summer school aims at bridging the gap between theoretical background and practical applications of NIBS techniques and covers a broad spectrum of topics ranging from animal studies to clinical trials. It offers young researchers the unique opportunity to present and discuss their own work, as well as gain a solid foundation in state-of-the-art brain stimulation techniques.
The event is targeted at talented and enthusiastic PhD students and post-doctoral researchers who wish to gain more knowledge about NIBS tools and how to apply them to their own work. The summer school is limited to max. 35 participants. Application deadline is July 29, 2016.
