Awardees of the ALBA FKNE YIBRO Diversity grants announced

The awardees of the ALBA-FKNE-YIBRO Diversity Grants for the FENS 2020 Virtual Forum have been announced. In total, 286 scientists could benefit from waived registration to attend this 12th edition of the FENS Forum.

A total of 286 scientists from all around the world were awarded with waived registration to attend the FENS 2020 Virtual Forum:

  • 100 scientists come from Africa,
  • 101 come from Latin & South America,
  • 58 come from Asia,
  • 27 come from Europe and the Middle East.

This new Diversity Grant programme was developed by the ALBA Network, the FENS Kavli Network of Excellence (FKNE), and Young IBRO (YIBRO) in partnership with FENSIBRO, the FederaciĆ³n Latinoamericana de Neurociencias y el Caribe (FALAN), the Federation of Asian-Oceanian Neuroscience Societies (FAONS), and the Society of Neuroscientists of Africa (SONA).
