EARA workshop: Basic research media training

FENS is proud to support the European Animal Research Association (EARA) workshop on “Basic research media training” taking place on 23 February 2022, 10:30-13:30 CET.
This three-hour online workshop is focused on how to improve communication of basic research involving animals. Basic, or fundamental research, can be more difficult to discuss with the public and the media, as there is often no direct link between the research and a medical or human application.
This interactive online workshop, held via Zoom, is aimed at researchers that use animals in their research, as well as communications staff, who are interested in developing their skills and expanding their conversations specific to the role of animals in basic research.
Due to the interactive nature of the workshop, spaces are limited to 40, so those interested should register as soon as possible.
This workshop is supported by the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) and the Society for Neuroscience (SfN).
