Eager to have your image featured on the cover of the European Journal of Neuroscience? Check out the FENS-EJN Image Competition!
FENS and the European Journal of Neuroscience are inviting the neuroscience community to submit their favourite images to the FENS-EJN image competition. Research and scientific images or artistic images linked to neuroscience will be accepted into the competition. Both team and single-person entries are welcome.
The shortlisted images will be displayed during the FENS Forum 2024 (25-29 June 2024, Vienna, Austria) and on the FENS website. The winner image will be featured on the cover of the European Journal of Neuroscience, in addition to being featured on the FENS website and at the Forum congress centre.
But that’s not all: the audience will be able to vote for their favourite image among the shortlisted entries and the winner one will be featured on the cover of an EJN Virtual Issue, in addition to being featured on the FENS website and at the Forum congress centre.
Submission deadline: 14 April 2024

Timeline
- 1 February 2024: competition opens
- 31 March 2024: submission deadline
- 14 April 2024: extended submission deadline
- May 2024: announcement to selected participants
