FENS travel grants available to attend the 48th Annual Meeting of the Japan Neuroscience Society in 2025

FENS is offering travel grants to support early-career researchers attending the 48th Annual Meeting of the Japan Neuroscience Society, titled “48th Annual Meeting of Japan Neuroscience Society: Future projection as neuroscience as envisioned in the mind“, taking place at Toki Messe, Niigata, Japan, from 24–27 July 2025.
These grants, valued at up to EUR 1,333 each, are designed to partially cover travel expenses. In addition, the registration fee for successful applicants will be waived.
Eligible candidates must be PhD students or postdoctoral researchers (within two years of receiving their PhD) and members of a FENS society or individual members of FENS.
The application must include:
- Short CV (two page maximum two pages)
- An abstract (up to 400 words) where the applicant is the presenting first author
- The name of a referee, who will be asked to provide a short letter of recommendation
Applicants must not:
- Have received a FENS travel grant for the Japan Neuroscience Meeting in 2024
- Be recipients of other grants related to the 48th Annual Meeting of the Japan Neuroscience Society
Successful applicants must submit their abstract and comply with the JNS Late-Breaking Abstracts deadline.
