The British Neuroscience Association (BNA) is excited to announce the forthcoming launch of a new international journal, ‘Brain and Neuroscience Advances’, and also invites nominations for the first Editor-in-Chief.

The BNA is inviting candidates to apply to be the first Editor-in-Chief of new journal, Brain and Neuroscience Advances, and also invites nominations for anyone you think we should consider for this role.
Deadline: 25 May 2016 – 5pm.
Check it out on BNA website.

This open access journal will be a brand new platform for scientific publication, and will occupy a unique position as a wide-ranging, multidisciplinary journal representing all aspects of neuroscience – from ion channels to animal behaviour to applications in the clinic and beyond – with a truly global reach.

The mission of Brain and Neuroscience Advances is:

To promote, on a multidisciplinary basis, the study of the development, structure and function of the neurosciences in health and disease.  Brain and Neuroscience Advances publishes original research papers and reviews from all fields and disciplines of neuroscience, including molecular, cellular, systems, behavioural, and cognitive investigations.  The journal welcomes submissions in basic, translational and/or clinical neuroscience.  Research papers should present novel, empirical results that are expected to be of interest to a broad spectrum of neuroscientists working in the laboratory, field or clinic.

The journal is wholly owned by the BNA, a highly respected charitable Association dedicated to neuroscience research.
