New FENS Officers took office in Geneva

During the FENS Forum in Geneva the new FENS President Helmut Kettenmann (Germany) took office for the period of 2008 – 2010. Richard Morris (UK) stepped down, but will serve FENS for a period of another two years as Past President.

Sten Grillner (Sweden) was elected FENS President Elect. He will serve as President Elect for a period of two years from 2008 to 2010 and will then follow Helmut Kettenmann as President for the period of 2010 – 2012.

Furthermore, Fotini Stylianopoulou (Greece) has been elected as FENS Secretary General elect. She will serve as FENS Secretary General elect for two years and will then take office as FENS Secretary General as a successor of Asla Pitkänen (Finland), FENS Secretary General since 2006.

Also the chair of the Schools Committee, Susan Sara (France), handed over her tasks to Roberto Caminiti (Italy).

Gerard Boer (The Netherlands) is the new chair of the Local Organizing Committee for the FENS Forum that will be held in Amsterdam, 2010.
