Professor Zeta Papadopoulou-Daifoti, Emeritus Professor of Pharmacology at the Medical School of Athens, passed away on 18 March 2016. With her death, the European neuroscience community has lost a dedicated researcher, mentor and friend.
Zeta was a founding member of the Hellenic Neuroscience Society, the Hellenic Pharmacology Society and the College of Research, Education, Prediction and Treatment of Psychiatric Disorders. She played a significant role in the European Medical Association and the Greek National Organization for Medicine Regulation, serving as President of its Drug Reimbursement Commission between 1998 and 2004.
Zeta will be missed as a mother, wife, grandmother, scientist-teacher, colleague and friend, but her legacy will keep her in our minds.
