Scientific Highlight of the year from the Neuroscience Society of Turkey

A new scientific highlight from the Neuroscience Society of Turkey published in Nature in 2009 is now available on the FENS website.

The title of the new scientific highlight is “Pericyte contraction induced by oxidative-nitrative
stress impairs capillary reflow despite successful opening of an occluded cerebral artery”.

The authors are Muge Yemisci, Yasemin Gursoy-Ozdemir, Atay Vural, Alp Can, Kamil
Topalkara and Turgay Dalkara, and the article was published in Nature Medicine, 2009,
volume 15, no 9, pages 1031-1037.
