The Brain Prize is the world’s largest prize for neuroscience, founded by the Lundbeck Foundation. Each year, this prestigious award is given to one or more scientists who have distinguished themselves through outstanding contributions to any field of neuroscience, from basic to clinical.
The prize may be awarded to scientists of any nationality, working in any country in the world and in any field of neuroscience. Anyone is eligible to nominate, and nominations for candidates from diverse backgrounds and fields of neuroscience are highly encouraged.
The nomination period of The Brain Prize 2026 will remain open until 1 September 2025. Detailed information about the prize and the nomination process can be found here.
