The Brain Conferences are high-level meetings bringing together outstanding researchers in key areas of contemporary neuroscience. Participants have the opportunity to discuss current concepts, define challenges for future research and interact with leaders in their field in an intimate setting.

In addition to talks, the Brain Conference will feature poster sessions, interactive sessions, communal meals, drinks and free time, giving attendees ample informal networking opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere.

This Brain Conference is the first to take place in Crete, Greece, at the Fodele Beach Resort.

Abstract submissions

Once you have completed the registration, you will receive a link in your registration email where you can submit an abstract and apply for a stipend or Danish slot. Further information on stipends and slots for Danish scientists can be found below and in the “Stipends” tab.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract, although this is not a mandatory requirement for attending as participant.

By submitting an abstract:

  • you agree to present a poster during the meeting
  • you will be considered for a stipend or Danish slot (if you apply for one in the abstract submission form)
  • you might be asked to present your abstract in the form of a short talk
  • you might be asked to present your poster in a poster spotlight

Please note that the organisers reserve the right to not accept abstracts that are not sufficiently relevant to the meeting topic. Following the end of each registration period, submitters will be informed if their abstract was not accepted.

Please note that abstract acceptance does not mean that your registration is confirmed. Attendance to the meeting is not guaranteed until the full payment of the registration fee has been finalised.
