- How to reach the venue from the airport
By submitting an abstract:
- your application will be considered for a FENS and The Brain Prize stipend (if you apply for a stipend in the application form);
- you are prioritised during the selection process;
- you agree to present a poster during the meeting;
- you might be asked to present your abstract in the form of a short talk;
- you might be asked to present your poster in a poster spotlight;
Note: The poster board dimensions for the scheduled Poster Sessions are of 1 meter wide and 2 meters high (portrait format).
The number of participants to this conference is in the range of 150 participants. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract, although this is not a mandatory requirement for being accepted as participant.
Following the end of registration, accepted applicants will receive an email containing detailed information on how to proceed with the registration. Please note that attendance is not guaranteed until the full payment of the registration fee has been confirmed.

Stipends
The Brain Prize and FENS offer stipends for international students or early career scientists who attend the conference. Part of the grant will be used to cover the registration fee for the awardee.
To be considered for a stipend, you have to submit an abstract during the online registration and select “Yes” in the “Stipend request” field in the application form. The grant awardees will be selected following the regular registration deadline.
The Lundbeck Foundation is also offering a number of free seats for the Brain Conferences for Danish early career scientists. Further information will be provided at a later date.
Cancellation policy
Should you need to cancel your participation, please contact the conference coordinator (brain@fens.org) immediately. If notice of cancellation is received more than two weeks before the conference, the paid registration fee will be refunded except 100 EUR cancellation fee. No refund is possible if notice of cancellation is received less than two weeks before the conference.
Accommodation
Please note that the accommodation (i.e.: hotel room and breakfast) is not included in the conference registration fee.
A limited number of single and shared rooms have been preliminary booked by the organisers at Rungstedgaard (the venue where the Brain Conference takes place).
Accepted participants will be provided with a link where they can proceed with the booking and payment of accommodation at Rungstedgaard if they so choose.

Detailed information on how to reach Rungstedgaard from the Copenhagen airport and further practical aspects will be available in an InfoPack sent to the final participants.
