By submitting an abstract: your application will be considered for a FENS, IBRO-PERC and The Brain Prize stipend (if “Yes” was selected in the “Stipend requested” field). 

  • you might be asked to present your abstract in the format of a short talk
  • you agree to present a poster during the conference
  • you are prioritized during the selection process.

Please note that abstracts submitted during the late registration deadline will only be considered for poster presentation.

Note: The poster board dimensions for the scheduled Poster Sessions are of 1 meter wide and 2 meters high (portrait format).

Registration

Registration fee includes:

  • registration, programme book with abstracts and meeting costs
  • lunches, dinners and coffee breaks
  • conference Farewell Dinner

The visit to Frederiksborg castle costs EUR 18.

Stipends

The Brain Prize, IBRO-PERC and FENS offer 15 stipends of EUR 1,000 for international students or early career scientists who attend the conference. Part of the grant will be used to cover the registration fee for the awardee.
To be considered for a stipend, you have to submit an abstract during the online registration and mark the available field “Yes, I want to be considered for a stipend”. The grant awardees will be selected following the application deadline.

The number of participants to this conference is in the range of 150 participants. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract, although this is not a mandatory requirement for being accepted as participant.

Following the end of regular registration, accepted applicants will receive an email containing detailed information on how to proceed with the payment of registration. Please note that attendance is not guaranteed until the full payment of the registration fee has been confirmed.

Accommodation

Please note that the accommodation (i.e.: hotel room and breakfast) is not included in the conference registration fee.
A limited number of single and shared rooms have been preliminary booked by the organisers at Rungstedgaard (the venue where the Brain Conference takes place).
Accepted participants will be provided with a link where they can proceed with the booking and payment of the chosen accommodation at Rungstedgaard. Please complete your booking by 24 September 2021.

COVID Cancellation Policy

If the event is cancelled, we will offer you a full refund.

If you are not able to travel due to Covid-19 related restrictions, we will refund you accordingly. Please submit proof of change in travel restrictions or government regulations to the Administration Team as soon as possible (brain@fens.org).
